This Workshop aims to bring together researchers and professionals interested in the intersection of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and human factors in socio-technical systems. The goal is to explore the emerging challenges associated with the protection of systems where technical, organizational and human components converge.

The Workshop will provide an informal environment for discussion:

  • New attack and defense strategies in hybrid human-technological systems.
  • Applications of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, including detection, automation and threat analysis.
  • Methodological approaches and conceptual frameworks for the design, evaluation and management of secure systems.
  • Impact of AI and Cybersecurity on the Digital Society.

Call for papers

We invite researchers, professionals and students to submit contributions for the workshop Human-Centered Cybersecurity and AI: Challenges, Methods and applications, to be held in the framework of JCC 2026 at the University of Talca. The workshop seeks to address current challenges in cibersecurity considering the interaction between emerging technologies, complex systems and human behavior.

    • Articles must be formatted according to the IEEE-CS proceedings format. The article should be between 4 and 8 pages long including figures and references. The IEEE format is available at: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html.
    • Submissions must be made through the Microsoft's Conference Management Toolkit.
    • By submitting a paper, authors implicitly accept that at least one author must be registered and present the paper at the conference. Only articles that have been presented during the conference and comply with the IEEE quality review standards, will be published in the proceedings and sent to IEEE Xplore, which is charge of indexing in Scopus.
